Our dream.......

In over 500 villages, towns and cities across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland churches will work together like never before. In urban centres the church will engage in town & city wide mission initiatives that will impact the whole community. In 100's more neighbourhoods there will be localised events and activities that will bring words of truth and acts of service to 1000's of people across the UK.

By working in partnership with the police, local authorities and primary care trusts as well as other local churches, your church could help provide services to address issues such as debt dependency, hunger, homelessness and drug and alcohol addictions. There will be many schools and university missions, fun days, bbq's, kids clubs, estate clean-ups and much, much more...... There is a meeting to discuss our involvement in this vision:

"I honestly believe 'Hope' in 2008 is an opportunity, perhaps like we've never had before, for every denomination, stream, conference and movement to play to their strengths and together to make a huge impact on this nation"

Andy Hawthorne - one of the founders of Hope

"Hope in 2008 provides an amazing opportunity for all Christians to work together and make a huge impact on this nation. My hope and prayer is that through representing Jesus in words and in deeds we can see lives transformed and bring lasting change"

Mike Pilavachi - one of the founders of Hope

"This initiative has the potential to be a catalyst, not just for one year. My dream would be that it sees a movement of word and deed evangelism which would transform lives, families and communities. Building on what has gone before, it seems as if the time is right and ripe for multiplication. Therefore, with faith, love and HOPE let's have the confidence and courage to go for it together"

Roy Crowne - one of the founders of Hope
